Here's a little Progressive House playlist to end this beautiful Wednesday afternoon! I want to give a special shout out to one of the best local DJs from the Montreal area, Carl Muren. He's simply good at what he does, he's a beast behind the decks and he produces bombs! You can catch him DJing at "Le Vieux Shack", Circus Afterhours, Beachclub and other cool places! His productions are more on the radio side of Progressive House, already featured on MC Mario's radio show, I'm happy to feature his killer Mumford & Sons remix.
Nox saw this track (Chained) in the Tommorowland aftermovie, only complaint being that the drop was kinda weak... -_- So he whipped up an edit with a harrrd drop. Little bit of turbulence style synths going over top of a heavy distort. Bassline. Hopefully you enjoy.
The synth line during the breakdown absolutely tearrrs.
Happy Valentine's Day guys! Don't forget to buy flowers for your birds ;) Big Electro today, as usual I guess, new massive bootleg from Mgrk., Tommy Trash's wicked remix of Steve Aoki's Ladi Dadi, a very interesting remix of sabotage and more more goodies for your ears. Sorry the preview for the last track is not working, I suggest you download it cuz it's definitely worth it. Feedback is always appreciated.
NYC's party-crashing kings The Beatards get a floorboard breaking MOOMBAHTON remix from dance music prodigy Clockwork. This leak comes on the heels of successful and loved Clockwork remixes for Snoop Dogg, Crystal Castles, and Cut Copy, not to mention a deal with Nitrus Records, and recent collabs with Gotta Dance Dirty and Hard. It's been a favorite track of ours - and shows new direction and inspiration from The Beatards and Clockwork, both on and off the dance floor. The original version of "Tramp" (an infectious & danceable hip-hop club banger) will be released later this summer on the highly anticipated debut full-length album from The Beatards entitled I'm The DJ.
The Beatards are DJO, UTK the INC, and Chuck Wild. They met at a Brooklyn house party around 2005 and formed NYC's popular MIXTAPE RIOT! parties - eventually becoming hosts to the talents of Santigold, Spank Rock, and over 60 other performers. The group has since developed their own music innovations and creations - steadily releasing a number of mixtapes, EP's, and very popular music videos since '06. Entirely self-produced, The Beatards blend a popular variety of hip-hop, electronic, punk, and international sounds that mirror the bands’ diverse individual backgrounds and collective global experience. The Beatards have shared the stage with Far East Movement, LMFAO, Kid Cudi, ?uestlove, Drake, Mike Posner, MGMT, and many more. If you watch MTV, E!, or Oxygen, you've most definitely heard The Beatards. Their songs "Make The Bed", "Dang Diggy Dang", "Neon Light" and many others have been heard on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Hills, The Real World, Bad Girls Club, and more...
