[TRAP] Imogen Heap - Headlock (Thrive Remix)
Thrive's real name is Tyler Fisher and he's a 19-year producer from Wellington, Florida. He started producing when the metal band he played guitar in wouldn't show up to practice, and he wanted to be able to write songs on his own. Over time, he came to prefer the sound and culture of electronic music, so that's his main focus now. Lately, he's been really inspired by fresh new sounds in trap, moombahton, and electro house, so that's where he's been focusing his efforts, but his influences include everything from metal to pop, classical to dubstep, and pretty much any other style that embodies power, beauty, or groove.
Thrive was really impressed by the vocal of the original track, and wanted to give it his own spin. The result is a massive trap tune with a bit of a surprise halfway though. For maximum effect, listen to it on a system with a nice subwoofer or on headphones.
