Best of [MOOMBAH] Featuring Major Lazer, Ricky Vaughn, JSTJR, T.A.G.R.M., Munchi, Bacondo and More! [Week 14]

I am proud to introduce you to this epic playlist of Moombahton and Dancehall music! This new band called Bacondo is killin' it right now, already featured on Mad Decent and on many other blogs, these guys are bringing Moombah music to another level! With influences by many other genres, their sound is quite unique and full of energy! This is this week's musical discovery!

Now time for some old timers, we've got new Ricky Vaughn, Munchi, JSTJR, Hammo Sung, JummoDaddy and more! Since we don't receive that many Moombah/110 BPM submissions, these compilations are rare, so enjoy this and stay tuned for the upcoming ones!

Best of [MOOMBAH] New Jon Kwest, Munchi, Schlachthofbronx, Sabo, Nadastrom, Mendez and More! [Week 08]

Since the rise of the Twerk music trend, Moombahton kinda came back (was it really gone?) since the BPM is almost the same, I noticed more and more producers blending the 2 genres but still, there's not enough beat makers doing it. Moombah is still staying low profile even if it is so effective in a DJ set with a proper crowd! This playlist pretty much features some of the pioneers of Moombahton music, producers like Sol Selectas, Schlachthofbronx, Sabo, Nadastrom, Jon Kwest, Munchi, Mendez and Ostblockschlampen have been representing that 110BPM since the beginning! Don't expect just your typical Moombahton though, the freebies in this playlist goes from old school to nu school, Glitch Hop and some very Hip Hop influenced vibes, enjoy the free music and remember to share the good stuff!

[GLITCH HOP] Ghostkick - Sloth (Original Mix)

I've been great friends with the homies at Ghøstkick for a while now. Every single one of their releases has something amazing about them, but they really blew my mind with this new track "sloth". Just like they said, "it's all about the groove!" This track playfully uses vocal snippets from the show "Dragon Ball Z" as well as other samples from old school records. That being said, it's done in a very creative way, in no way lacking originality. This track shows that Ghøstkick is soon to be a household name!

[MOOMBAHTON/GLITCH] South Central, Multiplier, Sucker Punch, Digital Product, Tommy Trillfiger, Nightmare, Jesse Slayter, Mr. Bill, Psymbionic, Great Scott

I think its about time we go back to the 110BPM Moombahton/Moombahcore and Glitch grooves! Enough Electro, Trap and Dubstep for a minute. Moombahton, since I discovered this genre, has a special place in my heart, I don't know why exactly but this EDM genre has a little something... groovy! It might be because its mid-tempo ;) 5 free downloads ready to jump on your mp3 player/phone! Enjoy the nasty vibes!

[EDM ORGY #5] Jay Fay, Heavyfeet, DRS, DOSVEC, J-Kwon, Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Santigold, Pickster One, BASHtone, Dare2Disco, Futureflashs, Mr. Sir, Blunt B

A lot of 110BPM (Moombahton, Moombahcore, Glitch Hop) in today's orgy! apparently it's the next big thing. I found this piece of article today that describes Moombahton pretty well "Moombahton is still an new genre of music, created roughly in the early months of 2010 by DJ Dave Nada, Moombahton has the potential to not only impact urban music but music in general a great deal. A combination of Reggaeton and Dutch house, most of Moombahton tracks are littered with elements of hip-hop and dancehall, among other styles."

I kinda agree with that! Love it or hate it, its just getting started! But for the others, don't worry there's not only 110BPM in this post ;)
