Haters gonna hate for ever but I personally think that Deadmau5 and Skrillex's presence at the grammy last week was a huge step for EDM music. Both of them are being accused of making EDM music commercial and everything but the truth is that they are both victims of their success. They produce music for the fans before anything else and the fact that they are able to reach a larger audience with their music ain't no crime but simply amazing. EDM music is not what it use to be anyway. We don't see those secret rave anymore which was a huge factor in making EDM music so underground. These days big producers play in front of thousands of people so between me and you, ain't that the ultimate goal of any artist ? After all we don't produce that music to keep it for ourselves. So in the end you might like them or hate them but the truth is, they are both very talented producer that changed EDM music for ever which is why I decided to share with you these two tunes. First, Deadmau5 latest release «Maths» which is excellent as usual and second, a very nice remix of skrillex's original tune «True Gangsters».
